It’s time for a Hillbilly ho-down.
Red necks across the City are rejoicing with the announcement that Cabela’s is about to become Ikea’s new neighbor. The new Store is located at the intersection of Sterling Lyon Parkway & Kenaston Boulevard a mere raccoons hat throw away from the gigantic Swedish big box.
The party starts May 9 at 11:00 am when the doors to the new store open.
At 70,000 square feet, the new store will be nearly twice the size of the Cabela’s current Ellice Ave location and is approximately 10,000 square feet bigger than the Grand Forks Store.
A quick trip to Cabela’s web site and a quick read of their press release provides clients with a glimpse into the fantastic new amenities the new store will provide;
“In addition to thousands of quality outdoor products, the new location will include an indoor mountain replica featuring museum-quality wildlife displays, an archery pro shop and single-lane testing range, Bargain Cave, Gun Library, Fudge Shop and 50-person-capacity conference room.”
Cabela’s CEO Tommy Millner is excited about the new store and the opportunity the new location presents;
“This store will allow us to more efficiently serve our thousands of loyal customers across the region and further solidifies our long-term commitment to Winnipeg. We hope outdoorsmen and women in Winnipeg and the surrounding area are as excited as we are to open the doors.
Rest assured Mr Millner, Winnipeg is full of gun toting, deer shooting, varmint trapping good old boys and gals who will sure to be breaking down your doors to grab your opening day bargains.
The future is definitely bright for Manitoba business.
