On April 9th, 2014, the 8th Annual Silent Witness Project Memorial was held at the Winnipeg Art Gallery at 300 Memorial Blvd.
The event features a powerful memorial for Manitoba women who were killed at the hands of their intimate partner in a domestic violence incident. Life sized silhouettes are placed on display to represent the victim’s who were silenced by domestic homicide. The purpose of the memorial is to remember the women, create awareness and promote action.
