NORTH END STABBINGS PUMP UP VIOLENT CRIME STATS

The Winnipeg Police Service reported two (2) serious stabbing incidents that occurred in the North End of the City on Saturday.

The first incident occurred at 2:15 am when EMS was dispatched to the 400 block of Pritchard Ave regarding the report of a stabbing.  Upon arrival, Police located two male victims suffering from stab wounds.  Both men were transported to Hospital with life threatening injuries.  One victim was reported to be in critical condition while the other was upgraded to stable condition.

The second incident occurred at 4:30 am, when EMS was dispatched to the 400 block of Manitoba Ave regarding the report of another stabbing.  Upon arrival, Police located a male victim suffering from stab wounds.  The male was transported to hospital with life threatening injuries and remains in critical condition.

Both investigations are considered to be in the early stages and are continuing by members of the Homicide Unit.

The fact that the Homicide Unit is investigating these cases indicates the victim’s in both incidents are in very critical condition.
