WPS PATROLMEN HOCKEY CLUB WORK DREAM MAKER AUCTION

On Friday, April 26, 2013  the Winnipeg Police Service Patrolmen Hockey Club, will be volunteering their time at the Annual Dream Maker Auction, Fundraising Gala Dinner at the Winnipeg Convention Centre.  The Dream Maker Auction is the Dream Factory’s largest fundraising event, raising approximately $225,000 in net charitable assets.

It’s a fun-filled evening enjoyed by between 500-600 guests who enjoy live entertainment, great food and the excitement of participating in the Silent and Live Auction.  Items up for bid range in price from $50 – $6,000.

The WPS Patrolmen Team Members will be participating in the event by working a booth where they can be found;

  • Auctioning off donated items from past Patrolmen Hockey Initiatives ie. (Old Timer’s Hockey Challenge, NHLPA Goals For Dreams Hockey Challenge, Battle of the Badges, and GUNS vs. HOSES)
  • Showcasing a promotional video, in partnership with the NHLPA and the WPS Hockey Playing Team Members.
  • Distributing FREE Promotional photos to children at the event.

Team Coordinator Sean Chornley reports the WPS Patrolmen have raised over $400,000.00 for the Dream Factory and other Manitoba based charities.

The Dream Factory (formerly the Rainbow Society) provides wishes to children with life threatening illness.
